I Love Lilies

If I was asked which flowers make me think of warmer weather, I would have to say lilies. It is because of this they are my favorite flower! I stopped by the flower shop the other day to treat myself to a little taste of spring. I asked for Calla lilies but they didn't have any white in, so I took the ones below. I have to say they were very interesting.
I'm excited for spring this year. The winter seemed so long for some reason. I hope everyone enjoys the shots as much as I did. Let me know which is your favorite.

Last But Certainly Not Least

Last night Dave and I met with the final three models. While these ladies may have been last they are as the title of this post says.
Nicole has been a friend for quite some time and is just an all around fun personality to be around so when she agreed to model for us I was really excited. She is a beautiful lady and I knew that she would have fun with a project like this, it's great to have her involved.
Rhonda, is a truly gorgeous woman. She is also from my home state so I am looking forward to getting to know her better!
Puja, was a bundle of surpirse. She seemed shy at first but she is really a natural in front of the camera.
Dave and I will be meeting in the next few weeks to start planning for all the models individual shoots. We are both really excited about the project and getting to know more about our models.
Here are a few shots from last night. Let me know what you think.

MIY 09 New Models

This weekend Dave and I met with a few more models for our "Model In You" project. I'm looking forward to these ladies sessions. It's getting close to the season for shooting outdoors so we are in the process of planning out all the models individual shoots. Below are images of the new models: Bonnie, Jenny and Libby. I know Dave caught it...they all have an "E" sound to their name. We had fun getting to know these ladies. I found out Bonnie is from Louisiana (I am too), Jenny was born in Korea (I lived there for a year) and Libby's husband subs at my son's school. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.

65 Roses

This weekend I had the honor of being part of a very special wedding. Jeremy and Toni are two very special people, and it was evident that their family and friends love them very much. The first time I met Jeremy was at Graphic Flesh, the tattoo shop where I work part time. When he mentioned getting married Roger and Alysha, the owners of the shop, offered their home for the wedding. Alysha called me one afternoon and said she had a huge favor to ask me. When she mentioned that they needed a photographer for the wedding, I was totally on board.
Jeremy has Cystic Fibrosis, so this day was a very special one for him and Toni as
well as their family and friends. There wasn't a dry eye in the house through the whole ceremony. I wish them all the best!
I'm sure you guys are wondering why the title of this post is 65 Roses. "65 Roses" is what some children with cystic fibrosis (CF) call their disease. If you would like to learn more about CF, www.cff.org.

I hope you enjoy the pictures of these two.
