Every year during the summer my son goes home to spend time with my parents in Louisiana. Since it is such a long drive from Illinois we meet at the halfway point, Memphis. This is something we have done since my son was around 5 or 6 and as you can guess we have stayed in quite a few of the hotels in the area.
This year when we searched for hotels, the Hilton in East Memphis came up so we decided to give it a try. When we pulled up to the hotel, I was really impressed. The grounds and hotel were immaculate. The employees were very helpful and friendly. One of the things that really impressed Chris and I was the art. The hotel had art pieces everywhere and the art was not typical of any place we have ever stayed.
If you are ever coming to visit Memphis and are looking for a unique place to stay, check out the East Memphis Hilton.
Here are some images we took during our stay. I hope everyone enjoys.

I love the reflection of the sky in the building.

This little guy was posing like a super model for us.

I love this shot of the rays of sunlight coming around the clouds.

This is the reflection pond around the base of the hotel. I was amazed by the sun reflecting off the building to make rays of light across the water.
